Take 2: Monday Moments #8

You may remember the Monday Moments feature I started a while ago? Well I've decided to bring it back BUT with a twist. This weekly feature is going to be a little more light hearted and fun. Each week I'll be doing my bit to bring a little more positivity to Mondays. And with the help of some willing volunteers we will be sharing our highlights and key lessons from the day which many hate, Mondays.

My Monday Moment
So today I was in a meeting (which was actually quite interesting) and I needed to leave the meeting early because I had an appointment to get to. The discussion was ongoing and I spent at least 15 minutes looking for the perfect window of opportunity to discretely leave the room. 15 to 20 minutes later, I was still in this meeting....why? Because there wasn't a perfect window of opportunity. I think the same applies to life in general, sometimes there really isn't a "perfect window of opportunity". Sometimes you have to pick your moment and see it through!

What was your Monday Moment?  You can share it by tweeting me or if you're shy send an email and I'll add your moment to a post. Posts will be going live each Monday at 8pm ish so try to send your Monday Moment in before then :).

  2. I totally agree. Sometimes there just isn't a right time to take your leave of a conversation/situation. Having a chronic illness, I try and let those around me know that if I have to dash off quickly, it's nothing to do with them, and I don't mean to be rude, I just need to get away. My monday moment - waking up and being unable to move after a long weekend. I lead a slightly different life from your average 9 to 5er lol.

  3. What a lovely idea! I think my Monday moment this week would have to be when my mum rang me last night to say she was home from hospital and everything went well. I had spent the day worrying, so it was a welcome phone call!
