Hair Journey Update #1

So one of my lovely followers commented on an earlier blog post I wrote about starting my hair journey, which reminded when that I actually haven’t updated you guys. So here’s a quick update.

For those of you who don’t know, a hair journey (or healthy hair journey) is when you commit to learning about your hair, and finding way to help it grow and become healthier. I started my hair journey in May 2012 (5th to be specific).   Since then I’ve relaxed my hair once. And I’m currently trying to stretch my relaxer.

I currently have my hair in a weave; the Organic Root Stimulator Edge Control (pictured above) has been a lifesaver, when blending my hair/weave together. I would also be lost without my Castor Oil, which has been helping to thicken and grow my relaxed hair (click here for a mini castor oil review).
If you have any wonder products which you use for your hair feel free to share them in the comments section.

NOTD: Ft Kiko Nail Lacquer

A quick NOTD (nail of the day) post. I picked up both nail varnishes whilst I was in Paris over the summer. Kiko is an Italian brand, although I did see a store in Westfield Stratford you can also check their website. I have on my nails the colour 319 and the Essie "Let it Shine" top coat, a perfect combo for those natural nail days.

What nail varnish do you like to wear for those natural nail days? Feel free to comment below.

Review: Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution

Firstly, I want to apologise for not posting the last few weeks, I’m back at uni and I’ve been trying to settle back into uni life.

Anyways, today I thought I would share with you my thoughts on a hyped beauty products and a current favourite of mine, Bioderma. I'd heard a lot of hype surrounding this product on youtube, so decided to pick up a bottle (well 3, as there was a 3 for 2 offer on) whilst in Paris over the summer (click here to see my Paris Vlogs: Vlog 1 Vlog 2). This product can be bought online from places such as Amazon and Ebay, so no need to fear!

Bioderma is a French skincare pharmacy brand, they offer a range of different products for all skin types. I particularly like the Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution (pictured above)  as it's gentle enough for people with sensitive skin, whilst also acting as an effective make up remover (taking off even tough mascara) and  a daily cleanser.

I personally use Bioderma as a cleanser in the mornings and a make-up remover in the evenings. I love how it really removes any make up I have on, whilst also leaving my skin feeling refreshed and revitalized. I've been encouraging friends and family to try out this products and would defiantly recommend it to anyone who's on the hunt for a cleanser, make-up remover or just likes trying new products.

Have you tried Bioderma? Let me know your thoughts in the comments section.
