Some of Macs most popular lipsticks are reds., and Rebel is no exception. It's satin finish means it isn't as drying on the lips as matte finish lipsticks like Ruby Woo. Preparation is still key so make sure you exfoliate and moisturise your lips before applying this lipstick ( I like to use Burt's Bees Honey lip balm). Mac describe Rebel as a "mid-tonal cream plum" which I think is a fairly accurate description. Although the colour does look darker in the tube compared to on the lips.
