The Birmingham Blogger Meetup

As I mentioned in an earlier post, this month I had the opportunity to go to my first blogger meetup.
The meetup took place in Birmingham, but attracted bloggers from all over the U.K despite the snow.

We met in Starbucks at New Street Station and then were divided into groups.  My group went for a little wonder around the Bullring.  Although I didn’t buy anything…as you can see from my haul video, I’ve already bought enough this month!
Shopping in Selfridges
Later the groups met back at Starbucks and we made our way over to Rodizio Rico in the Mailbox for some very tasty free cocktails.

Cocktails, cocktails and more cocktails!

My mocktail :)
After our cocktails we headed over to Red Pepper restaurant (also in the MailBox) for a bite to eat. The girls had made so much effort, they had decorated the table and given everyone their own name card.
My name card
I ordered a really nice spicy chicken pasta.

Gorgeous cake made by Victoria
At dinner we all received a lovely goodie bag which was filled with lots of treats including the Benefit Mascara which I can’t wait to try.
I had a lovely time, it was great meeting all the bloggers and I can’t wait to go to my next blogger meetup!

Wish we had something like that in my country but don't think there's a lotta local beauty bloggers yet.
I would love to go to one of these. Those cocktails look so yummy!
